Music Editing PES 2009 (full details)

O.k. I'm new to this, but I know that in the PS3 version you can do this as a set feature.

In the PC version you must edit the '.img' files which are located where ever you installed PES 2009.

Programs you will need:

AFS Explorer 3.7 - This program is for editing the '.img' files.

DkZ studio - This program is for converting '.WAV' files into '.ADX' format (ADX is the format that PES uses for sound files)

You will also need a program that will convert your CD's or mp3's into .WAV files.
I used this one SUPER . It's freeware and seems very good.

First of all you need to determine which 'ADX' files contain the music tracks.
To do this I pain stakingly exported files from serveral folders within the 'cs0d' img. file and listened to them.

I discovered the files containing these tracks where from 'unnamed_90 to unnamed_150'. So actually they're only within 2 folders (0-99 & 100-199).

Step-by-step:

Convert your music tracks to WAV.
Convert you WAV. music files to ADX.
Rename your ADX files, starting at 'unnamed_90' to 'unnamed_150'

*Note - Don't put the '.adx' at the end of the number.

Then follow these instructions ...

2. Start AFS Explorer and go to menu FILE - IMPORT AFS File
3. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
4. From your PES 2009 img folder open cs0d.img (backup it first)
5. Answer NO to questions and the file will be opened.
6. Go to Action > Import Folder and choose the folder with the renamed ADX files.
7. Answer Yes to questions and the file will be opened.
8. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
9. Now save the "cs0d" as "1cs0d.img"
10. Wait for end of rebuilding and answer Yes to the next questions and the file will reloaded
11. Close AFS Explorer
12. Remove your old "cs0d.img" and rename the new "1cs0d.img" in "cs0d.img"

Now you will have your on tracks on menus ect ...

Note* I haven't worked out where the 'songs.txt' file is located? Editing this file should allow you to name the track and artist.

*Edit...

I worked out the tracks for the various menus:

Main menu= unnamed_96.adx, unnamed_104.adx, unnamed_106.adx, unnamed_109.adx & unnamed_122.adx

Champions League= unnamed_32.adx, unnamed_33.adx, unnamed_34.adx & unnamed_35.adx

Master League= unnamed_98.adx, unnamed_100.adx, unnamed_101.adx, unnamed_115.adx & unnamed_120.adx

Become a Legend Mode= unnamed_114.adx, unnamed_119.adx & unnamed_123.adx

Cup= unnamed_137.adx, unnamed_138.adx & unnamed_140.adx

Edit Menu= unnamed_97.adx & unnamed_118.adx

Highlights= unnamed_91.adx, unnamed_92.adx, unnamed_93.adx, unnamed_94.adx & unnamed_95.adx

*Note - Other web-sites use 'Kitserver' and a different system. They say it's more simple than rebuilding the image every time you want to edit something.
